The cottage was absolutely perfect for a girlie, mother and daughter getaway. It was peaceful and set in a beautiful location. Ruth’s communication was brilliant and we knew we could contact her if we had any questions.
The beds were super comfy and as someone who usually struggles to sleep in a different bed, I slept like a log on both nights.
Plenty of lovely walks from the cottage or within a short drive away. We particularly loved Alyn Walters Country Park.
We absolutely loved our stay at Yellowstone cottage. Ruth and Alan were warm, welcoming hosts and the cottage was set in a beautiful location.
We loved that Ruth and Ann had left eggs and barn bread, which we enjoyed with a cup of tea sitting on the patio which overlooked the fields. We would happily come back.
This place is a gem and Ruth and Alan are so lovely. We spent almost a week at the cottage with my family (3 adults and a toddler) and it was just perfect. The location is simply stunning and very strategic to explore the area from by car. The house was spotless and had everything we needed.
We were welcomed with a delicious homemade Bara Brith (Welsh cake) as well as fresh milk, eggs, butter, tea and coffee. Everything functioned properly including heating and water. The bedding was really soft and cosy. Overall, it was the perfect stay for us and really ideal with a toddler who was also able to enjoy the place as much as we did.
The cottage is child-friendly and there is plenty of room in the main bedroom to set up a travel cot and still comfortably move around. We definitely will be returning to Ruth and Alan’s!
Lovely little cottage in a peaceful rural location. Lots of lovely walks nearby and plenty of good restaurants and cafes just a short drive away.
The beds were very comfy and there’s everything you need in the kitchen to make all of your meals. The eggs and homemade cake were a lovely touch and we really enjoyed our stay. Ruth was very friendly and gave us some tips on where to visit on Anglesey which is just over an hour away.
We love that it is dog friendly.
