Nant-y-Ffrith
The scenic area of Nant y Ffrith is situated on the border between Flintshire and Wrexham, the name referring to the stream and the forested valley through which it flows. Rising in moorland to the east of Llandegla, the stream passes through the village of Bwlchgwyn before merging with the River Cegidog at Ffrith.

About us
The woodlands are home to a variety of plants, including ferns and mosses, and birds such as the wood warbler and redstart. The area was once mined for lead, possibly even as far back as Roman times, and several abandoned mines can be found here.
