Same Country, Different World

Local Walking in Flintshire

Boasting some of Wales’ most beautiful scenery, Flintshire is a walker’s paradise.
Two of the country’s best-known walking paths pass through the county: the Offa’s Dyke Path crosses the Clwydian hills on its way between Prestatyn and Chepstow, and the Wales Coast Path, which follows the entire coastline of Wales, begins (or ends!) at Queensferry, near the border with Chester.
Walk in rolling hills among quietly grazing sheep, wander through wooded valleys, lose yourself in leafy lanes, or explore the fascinating legacy of our industrial and maritime past, and if you’d like a little company, you can even walk with alpacas and donkeys.

With such a tempting selection, life really can be like a box of chocolates!
