Old Padeswood Golf Club
A very friendly parkland golf club with 18 holes and superb views over the Clwydian Mountains, conveniently located
near major roads.
Golf has been played at the current site of Old Padeswood Golf Club for over 100 years, with the current club being
established in 1977 and expanding to 18 holes in 1985. Since April 2016, the club has been run by the members, for the
members, making it a truly community-oriented club.
The course boasts a Par of 72 (73 for the Ladies) and spans over 6,600 yards from the championship tees, offering a fair
challenge for golfers of all skill levels. As you enjoy your round of golf, you’ll be surrounded by tranquil parkland with an
abundance of wildlife, including various species of birds of prey soaring overhead.

Located on the Cheshire and North Wales border in the beautiful county of Flintshire, Old Padeswood Golf Club offers
stunning views of the Clwydian Mountain Range, including the majestic Moel Famau with its jubilee tower perched atop.
The club is easy to find, close to the Welsh town of Mold, just 7 miles from Wrexham and 10 miles west of the historical
city of Chester. With the A55 nearby, we are within an hour’s drive of Manchester, Liverpool, and the North West.
Old Padeswood Golf Club pride itself on being a friendly club that warmly welcomes visitors and provides a great day
out for societies. The clubhouse offers a wide variety of refreshments, from light bites to full three-course meals, all
prepared by their in-house chef using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
In addition to golf, the clubhouse is also available for company meetings, lunches, wedding receptions, birthdays, and
